Pretty vintage hangers
Yes, regular old dress hangers. I never thought about it before, but I guess that I collect them. Or at least I hoard all the pretty ones for myself. Buying clothing out of estates over the years, I've ended up with some very nice ones. Floral, padded satin, from one estate I got about 100 crochet covered hangers. A recent purchase brought me several hangers covered in vinyl florals. Pretty.

I LOVE those wooden ones that have been covered with cloth, like in your fourth photo. I go crazy every time I find one!

I love the fabric covered ones too. In the 4th photo, the two white ones are a floral vinyl the others are cotton.
I view all the stuff but I like those wooden ones that have been covered with cloth because Jackets, tailored suits and coats are some of the most exquisite kind of clothing. Thanks for sharing with us this amazing post.
This post got me thinking... I guess I've also managed to be a collector of pretty vintage hangers without really trying. My favorites are the old wood ones with the clothing store name displayed on it.
These hangers are lovely! And perfect for keeping our precious vintage garments and stopping them being ruined or marked by nasty metal hangers!
