The Wardrobe Refashion Pledge
I Carol,
Pledge that I shall abstain from the purchase of "new" manufactured items of clothing, for the period of 4 months.
I Pledge that I shall refashion, renovate, recycle pre-loved items for myself for the term of my contract.
I Pledge that I shall create and craft items of clothing for myself with my own hands in fabric, yarn or other medium for the term of my contract.
I Pledge that I will share the love and post a photo of my refashioned, renovoated, recylcled, crafted or created item of clothing on the Wardrobe Refashion blog so that others may share the joy that thy thriftyness brings!

I know that it doesn't start until the 1st of the month but I've just made something so will photograph it and put it on the Wardrobe Refashion blog I think.
It's really exciting isn't it?
I figured that if I signed up for 2 months and got on ok, I'd then sign up for more.
Do I hear the gentle whirr of the sewing machine coming from NJ?!
I've started on some projects too. I have a few cute t-shirts that don't fit me anymore, so I'm going to try to do something with them along with some damaged rayon dresses. Also I'll dig into my old stash of fabric from my Rag Shop days.
That's not really a gentle whirr that you hear, it's more like a grinding and banging noise! My machine is a bit on the fritz.
