I had given up on thrift shops many years ago, the ones in Deptford barely had anything older than 1980s. I thought I'd check out the hospital thrift, but now I might as well pass, given your advice. I never found much to resell in thrifts anyway, maybe a few nwer pieces for myself.
I'll have to check out that KMart, and I like Ross too, they have really nice household things in the back.

Thanks for visiting my site and for writing!
Bye for now, CarolDandelion Vintagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17152874147507606801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16739706.post-1129177191890401552005-10-13T00:19:00.000-04:002005-10-13T00:19:00.000-04:00Hi Carol!! You would have had to be there to have seen the look of shock on my face to find another vintage clothing dealer in this area and completely by accident. The last thing I expected to find this evening was a website based out of Ocean View. Because honestly S.Jersey isn't exactly booming with great fashion, I usually find myself importing stuff from NYC and Philly.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know just 20 minutes from you in the opposite direction from Courthouse is the Hamilton Mall which has a Target and Old Navy right across the street. And also in the same area is the Shore Mall which boasts a Value City,Burlington Coat Factory and Boscov's.

But if you still find yourself heading my direction, we have a K-mart as well just a little further south on the Parkway(about 5 min.) in Rio Grande, which also now has a brand new Ross and other shops due to major development of the area.

Oh...and the hospital thrift you mentioned, here's one word of advice, there are two women there that tend to over price things if they feel it's "valuable" or more specifically collectable,BEWARE of GRACE!!! So basically DON'T tell them what you do for a living if you hope to find any good deals on vintage anything. But to be honest it's slim pickens when it comes to scoring vintage goods there....BUT they have a fantastic selection of everything else and that stuff is ALWAYS cheap, like jeans, sweaters and such. Even though my vintage needs are barely ever met with this place, I always manage to leave satisfied. Best time to go is within the first two hours of opening which is 10am, but not when they first open there doors because they haven't had a chance to put anything out yet.

Well it's nice meeting you,so to speak and I look forward to reading more of your blog(I love the photos of the vintage vault, reminds me of my house) and checking out your website for updates. So few are consistent when it comes to listing new inventory.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
